i am sorry i haven't posted in a long time it just seems every time i take a picture it doesn't look good at all and its making me crazy. ill have some more goods for you soon. here is a little coverup i did though

sorry i have been lagging as it seems i can never finish anything at all lately. i have been keeping busy with the normal names and what not, i have been filling up my up for grabs section of my board as well. here are some of the things i want to do so you should come in and i will make you cooler/better looking/tougher with them.

a really nice fella named david wanted an american robin on his neck so that's what i did. he sat like a champ and was pleasant as well.

golden girls are loved

Carli who works here at blackbird with me loves the golden girls so she wanted to pay respect via a belly rocker. note the crazy dots. this was super fun and carli is awesome for letting me make fun tattoos on her

hibiscus that is blue

its small as she was, and wanted it blue. she was really nice and i had fun tattooing her.

bering sea

so the story is he is a fisherman in alaska got knocked off the bow of the boat by a wave, smashed into the railing then tossed over something like 40ft. when he was retrieved from the water he wasn't breathing then brought back to life. the bering sea doesn't sound like a nice place for a swim. he will be back sometime in the future for more work on this

one step closer

David made it back in today, we have almost finished his arm today we added a rose with some drum sticks. it was fun as always and im really looking forward to finishing his sleeve.

yesterday Laura and i tattooed her leg, she had worked out a nice design and we made it permanent. it was fun and i believe she will make a fine tattoo maker.

poppy color

Sandy came back and we finished her poppy tattoo. it was lots of fun for me and she is happy to be done with it as well. thanks again Sandy and congratulations on your engagement.

the other pit

so Ben made it in again the other day to get his other armpit tattooed with a rotten rose. i was hoping to get him back in for another photo as the majority of this rose is yellow but mixed with all the redness of a fresh tattoo = brown so it looks pretty monotone. he is leaving for a year so that's that i suppose? i have gone on to far now, sorry. oh and a healed first pit

BB made it back in for some color and that's what happened. we had started the outline a few weeks ago and the top was done last year. i hope you enjoy your new arm BB and thanks again

eventful slow day

 when i came into the shop yesterday i noticed that everything in my station was wrapped in plastic wrap, down to my foot switch.)i took the picture after i started to unwrap it all) i knew it was Jesse so my retaliation plan was formed and i sprung into action. vasoline went under every drawer handle in his station which is a lot because he rocks 2 boxes. i wonder what he will do next? my 2 appts for the day called and canceled so my plate was empty so when Spike (friend, artist, coworker, super nice guy) had a free min i asked him to tattoo my knee and he obliged. now my knee is super fancy and better looking, thanks again Spike

i love one shot tattoos and have wanted to do a fox for a while now, thanks to my friend i had a chance to do both today. sorry about the horrible picture.

ZOO FIGHT!

I have been so anxious to start this 1/2 sleeve. Soon it will have color, a badger getting at there tails on the inside of his arm, and some time in the future it will be finished but for now this is all. I wish everyone were down to get such wonderful tattoos.

unfinished business

 i had the pleasure of working on a friend of mine a few days ago. we had tattooed the lilies on her shoulder-cap last year and now started the continuation down further.  color will be started in a few weeks.

first day

so i have started this blog as a way to keep up with the world, actually i really like reading others blogs as they are always changing and keep me inspired so i thought it would be good to get in on that. i am in no way an english major so ill try to mostly post pictures. i hope you enjoy a small piece of my life.
